Six down, six to go …

Keyboard

It’s been a month spent predominantly parked in front of my laptop given the amount of work I’ve had on over the past few weeks - which doesnt show any sign of slowing down. Plenty of coffee and coding which hasn’t produced many particularly captivating photos - but also a good mix of seeing plenty of my friends (according to the set thumbnails, anyway!) but not a lot of Sarah given her early module and demanding work schedule.

Five down, seven to go …

Ice Cream

May was pretty black and white apart from the usual business. On the one hand there were / are the delights of the sun (touch wood), contrasted against the relatively low but infuriating pile of work for University. However, the amount of energy I’m now filled with now that those projects are over and done with is unprecedented - and I’m now totally geared up for a busy summer spent working my ass off on web design projects, promoting TwoStep, SweetTalk & BarCamp, getting the coworking space up n’ running and more.

Four down, eight to go …

I’ve unwittingly created these monthly retrospectives on the progress of my ‘366, so I may as well continue. Another month spent moving house, taking in the occasional gig, heading to London for Future of Web Design and then - more towards the end of the month - teetering off into monotony. A lot of things have been going on that I haven’t been able to photograph - I reckon snaps of emails or letters informing me that a project is moving forward would get pretty stale after a while - but they’ll be represented physically in later months.

Scones

Lesson learnt this month; try to be a uniformly more interesting person.

Three down, nine to go …

Thanks to one thing and another, I didn’t actually get around to my regular self-congratulating post for completing another month of the Photo366ā„¢. March was an odd month - some days it was all I thought about, others my photo was taken late evening or close to midnight. April has started off weak too - but resorting to an iSight shot a few days ago has guilt-kicked me into my second wind - I’m even considering setting small challenges to keep it interesting. Stay tuned!

Looks like you’ll be finishing the year with me whether you like it or not, Alex!

Two down, ten to go …

Map of Dublin

I’m absolutely loving the Photo366 - I now have two Flickr sets acting as a visual calendar of what I’ve spent the first sixth of 2008 doing, which I can only imagine as an indication of the gratification I’ll feel after completing an entire year - I’m definately on a roll now!

One down, eleven more to go …

goodonpaper

Having only half completed the first month last year, it’s quite odd to be able to look at what is effectively a thumbnail calendar of my entire January. Unlike the last attempt, I managed to keep hold of my passion to take photographs every day - most days I even have to pick between a few. I honestly thought I’d crumble by now, but I’m enjoying seeing the whole thing come together, and I don’t even think the motivator of the new camera in March was strictly necessary - even though I’m still eagerly anticipating it as my sensor becomes increasingly problematic.
